So like I said I would be taking a break from this project over the holidays. And boy it was a busy time, hell life is still busy. About a month or so ago I started to rewrite part of the client to make it handle new users better. And I got about half way and had to stop, the server code is getting overblown and cumbersome. So I have been debating on doing a rewrite of the server. I have so many issues now inside of the connection and combat code I want really want to scrape it and start a new. But I’m looking at that amount of code already done and working well, and it about as much as the bad code. Now this was my first real dive into Java and this is where I learned the in’s and out’s of it so it is so ugly when you dive into the combat engine.

So I have the code loaded and looking at starting it from scratch, and it’s so tempting very tempting! We shall see what I do in the next couple days…
